Kiera is an entrepreneur and software developer with skills developed over the last 20 years across a wide variety of endeavours.  She has been a business owner since 2005 focusing on technology solutions to make businesses and their staff and customers more efficient.  She has also taught part time college classes and has spoken at, and organized WordCamps, conferences for WordPress.

Over the last 11 years, Kiera has been the owner and operator of Wiley Solutions.   She has built a wide variety of custom solutions in WordPress and other technology platforms across the full web stack such as WordPress, Node.js and others. She specializes in using technology to make her clients better, faster and deliver their products more cost effectively.

Kiera’s specialty is large web-based software builds with many interacting components and features. This includes customer facing interfaces, sales/marketing sites, API endpoints and integrations, single page applications, and more.

Kiera is constantly building something, whether its for her own projects or for her clients. Some of the things she has done:

• Development WordPress Sites (Ground-up themes, or takeover of existing). (WP Theme Build, WP Plugins, React, Custom Blocks)
• Site development on different platforms and technologies.  (WordPress, LiquidJS, Handlebars, Zendesk, Freshdesk, React)
• Development of WordPress plugins for:
  • Tables Block (React, Google Sheet integration, Custom WP Block)
  • Content Security Header (CSP)
  • Feedback System (React, html2canvas, Zapier)
• DragonTeach is a LMS built to help instructors who teach WordPress automate setting up and grading their students.  A Saas software which is built from the ground up on an AWS server and integrated with WordPress. (WordPress, React, REST API)
• Full hosting application for managing and administrating her servers with white-label hosting. This is the setup that powers DragonTeach, but, was created to be software agnostic – anyone could use this. (NodeJS, React, AWS, REST API Endpoints, GraphQL, Stripe API)
• Line of Business Software built from the ground up to integrate a the operations of a major lighting distributor (Node.js, GraphQL and React, Puppeteer, APIs, Web Scraping)
• Line of Business Software for a major call-centre company (PHP)

In her non-working time, Kiera is an avid photographer, renovator and traveller. She spends her time at her house in Toronto or roaming and photographing the world, camping in a corner of it with her popup trailer, or even on two wheels on a motorcycle.
